What is AFA Klamath?

Afa klamath is a blue algae, just like spirulina or chlorella.

Its richness in vitamin B12 gives AFA Klamath a role in the process of cell division and the normal functioning of the nervous system.

Natural origin of afa klamath

It grows naturally in a unique site far from any pollution: Klamath Lake , Oregon (USA).

The water of the lake, of great purity and neutral PH , comes from the melting of snow and ice from the surrounding volcanic mountains, some of which rise to more than 1262 m.

This is why it is also called klamath algae, or klamath.

Thanks to the unique growing site rich in nutrients, klamath is one of the most complete foods on the planet. The benefits of AFA Klamath due to vitamin B12 are numerous:

The composition of the Afa Klamath

The secret of organic AFA klamath lies in its exceptional composition, rich in micronutrients and trace elements. It contains more than 65 vitamins, minerals, amino acids and essential fatty acids. Due to its structure, the absorption of essential nutrients is optimal, with assimilation and effective use of 95%.

  • Proteins
Klamath is particularly rich in vegetable proteins, 55% to 70% of its weight, which corresponds to a very exceptional value. From a qualitative point of view, Klamath proteins are complete, because they contain all the essential amino acids.
  • Vitamins
Interestingly, vitamin B12 is difficult to obtain in a meat-free diet because no common plants contain it. AFA Klamath is therefore indicated as part of a vegetarian or vegan diet [5].
  • Pigments
    – Carotenoids: Klamath contains them. These are yellow-orange pigments, including ß-carotene (precursor of vitamin A), 10 times more present than in carrots and a powerful antioxidant.
    – Chlorophyll: it is also an exceptional source (1 to 2% of dry weight)
