Diego is the flag bearer of the Swiss delegation at the 2018 Ultra Trail World Championships which took place in Spain at the beginning of May. But above all, he is a lover of Switzerland who, thanks to the Montreux Trail Festival and this new challenge – Crossing Switzerland – wants to highlight his country and its mountains and make everyone want to venture there.

Crossing Switzerland: these are dizzying figures :
- 420km across 6 cantons
- 14 passes from the Swiss Alps
- 17 summits including 2 at over 2500m altitude
- 26 000 meters of elevation gain positive
All to be covered in less than 120 hours , in one go (day and night) and without step .
To give you an idea, a hiker usually covers this route across Switzerland, between Vaduz and Lausanne, in 22 days of walking. !

This native of Lausanne is involved in order to bring the Swiss trail to life. Co-organizer of the Montreux Trail Festival , which takes place at the end of next week, he wants to propose a new way of seeing his beautiful country .
