Iron food supplements: what to take if you are iron deficient?

Creeping fatigue, low ferritin, breathlessness during exercise: iron deficiency mainly affects women, athletes and people who eat little meat. What should you take? An iron food supplement that is well absorbed and well tolerated, as a 3-month course, in agreement with your doctor if anaemia has been diagnosed.

Our answer is plant-based. Organic Spirulina Iron is enriched with iron during cultivation: the mineral is bound into the alga's matrix and provides 13 mg of iron per serving, i.e. 93% of the daily reference intake, without the digestive discomfort of conventional iron salts. Iron contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, to normal oxygen transport in the body and to the normal formation of red blood cells. Organic chlorella complements it with active vitamin B12 (77% of the reference intake), which also contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

For a complete 3-month course, our Iron Needs Pack brings together Spirulina Iron, chlorella and organic spirulina at a reduced price. Algorigin is a Swiss brand: our supplements are tested batch by batch and available in more than 600 pharmacies in Switzerland.
