Meet Angélina from Activhandi, a determined woman with a ready smile who has tried Algorigin algae! Discover her story and her feedback:
Algorigin: Could you introduce yourself and tell us a little about Activhandi?
Angélina: My name is Angélina PERGOD, I’m 28 and I have a disability following a spinal cord injury.
I co-founded Activhandi with Florian Vallet and Franck Collongues.
Activhandi is a social platform that connects people with reduced mobility and disabilities with sports and leisure activities adapted to their needs.
My main role at Activhandi is community management.

A: How did Activhandi come about?
Angélina: Activhandi grew out of my own experience and Florian’s. We were both passionate about the mountains and sport, and shared a love of hiking, adaptive skiing and water sports.
We also volunteer for an adaptive leisure association that aims to share the joys of the mountains with people with disabilities. Through this shared experience, we saw that there was strong demand for services for people with disabilities, but nothing to connect that demand with what was on offer.

A: What is Activhandi’s goal?
Angélina: We want to make places accessible to people with disabilities and showcase the mountains.
We want to encourage them to take up an activity and get out of the house, so they don’t become isolated.
With ActivHandi, you can geolocate venues and cultural events that are adapted to people with disabilities.
A: How did you hear about Algorigin?
Angélina: ActivHandi is supported by the European cluster Outdoor Sports Valley. We are based at Annecy Base Camp, in the same premises as Algorigin.
That is how we discovered their algae and the brand’s philosophy, through work.
A: Which of our algae have you tried?
Angélina: On the team’s advice, I take spirulina granules.
I’m glad I discovered what spirulina can do for my body.
